Located in beautiful Langley, British Columbia, Canada – about 45 minutes south of Vancouver, Cascadia believes high-performance window systems can have it all. Durability, beautiful design and exceptional performance. Without compromise. Founded in 2008 by a group of building science and window specialists, the Cascadia mission was to fabricate high-performance fiberglass window systems in the NW.
Their model and colleague is Inline Fiberglass Ltd. located over 2700 miles away in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Inline is one of the very first companies to begin fabricating fiberglass windows in Canada. From pultruding the lineals themselves to glazing and final assembly, over the course of 25 years Inline has developed a well-earned reputation for design innovation, high-technology, quality and performance.
Fiberglass is a relatively new material to the world of windows and doors. A well-engineered fiberglass window delivers similar strength characteristics to aluminum but with very low levels of conductivity. Fiberglass has been called a super material because it is an amazing 500 times less conductive than aluminum. This material is so tough that it will withstand extremes from Arctic cold to blazing desert heat to the rugged seacoast without breaking down.
Cascadia offers more types of windows and doors than most fiberglass companies. From their 300 series they offer tilt/turns with excellent DP ratings. Their 400 series window wall allows design flexibility generally unaffored to competing fiberglass systems. The Cascadia Universal Series was designed in 2016 to uncompromising design intents for thermal performance, structural capacity, aesthetics, hardware flexibility, site tolerance, cost, and ease of manufacturing. They have the best paint of any fiberglass window on the market today. From joinery to glazing to final assembly, Cascadia builds finished products of the highest caliber.
